The MX-1 Expansion and Telemetry Platform is the company's first product for autonomous systems, offering an extensible and reconfigurable platform for multiple sensor and data telemetry processing capabilities specifically targeting the industrial UAV market. The MX-1 supports multiple payload or expansion module functionalities collectively optimized for data acquisition and analysis, while integrating to the UAV in a highly efficient manner. A key feature is the MX-1 patented air frame independent design concept, where the expansion platform follows the contour of the UAV, providing efficient use of valuable space and unobstructed addition of payload modules.
The MX-1 platform is part of the ATP family of products and is based on the companies ATP processor module utilized for controlling and orchestrating UAV expansion or device modules and payloads. The ATP provides functionality for data-collection operations as well as communications between the autonomous system and remote hosts. Additionally, edge-based AI computation is supported for preprocessing aggregated telemetry data acquired by the MX-1 and any corresponding installed expansion modules.
MX-1 Expansion modules support configurable options such as multiple sensor types, gas monitors, cameras, LiDAR, scanners, and other devices, easily integrated within the MX-1 platform.
Industry specific module packages are in development and include sensor modules for detecting and measuring chemical properties of gases and liquids within a variety of target environments such as those found within energy, mining, quality/safety monitoring, and inspection industries.
